Data scientist and ML engineer turned engineering team lead, with a background in computational neuroscience. After a stint as a research scientist at an AI startup, I joined Migros, one of Switzerland’s two largest retailers, as a data scientist to build a new recommender system. Today, I lead a cross-functional team that powers personalisation for millions of households across coupons, newsletters, and real-time web recommendations, while staying as hands-on as I can in design, code, and reviews.
